[Sudan, Khartoum, Interview with Taban lo Liyong] [sound recording] / collected by Lee Nichols.

The author explains that, although he is identified in biographies as Ugandan, he was actually born in southern Sudan. He says that he has now come home after nearly forty years, to live, teach, and write. He discusses the state of Sudanese literature and tells of an anthology he is in the process of editing.
